Kosher Certification – How Much?
Whole Kosher Services (WKS) is a modest friendly kosher certification organization mainly operating in North America. We can provide kosher certification at significant low rates. This is because WKS is not burdened with costly overhead expenditures that affect the larger certification companies. Every manufacturing facility is unique and pricing is based on those variables and the following are the parameters.
Location
Access to the facility is reflected in the quote. If it’s easy to reach such as in a city the price will reflect that. Facilities farther form the city will effect a different fee. All travel expenses are included in quotes.
Sensitivity and Number of Ingredients
Items such as oils are considered sensitive and would require more visits to the plant Items such as refined sugar, flour, and salt would require fewer inspections.
Number of Processing Facilities
Multiple processing facilities will require additional travel expenses.
Insuring Integrity of Equipment
If the product being manufactured is co-produced with other items, WKS must insure all items that touch the machinery are within the required kosher laws. If a facility or machinery is used to process multiple items additional supervision is required.
